TimTech usually has no separate “media center” page in the menu. Images live in the library of the site you are managing now, and each content field opens them through the image picker:
- Upload: send a new file into the site library and use it.
- Library: pick an image that is already uploaded (you can search, and filter by folder).
Most content fields show both buttons. Examples: a news cover, a page-block image, product media, the brand logo, a custom-content image field, and an image inserted in the body.
The steps that are specific to product photos are in Set product images.
Who can do what?
| Role (default) | Upload a new image | Pick an existing image | Delete a file from the library |
|---|---|---|---|
| Owner / editor | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ (see Delete an image and check usage) |
| Viewer | ✗ | ✓ (usually) | ✗ |
If you are an editor and cannot upload, check whether your permissions were narrowed, or ask the owner. See What to do when permission is denied.
A sensible reading order
- Upload and pick from the library — the two tabs in the picker.
- Folders, size, and format — file limits and suggested pixels.
- Delete an image and check usage — why delete warns you first.
Broken images, stale images, and cache are in Broken images and stale cache. For the brand logo, use Upload a logo and favicon.
