This page gets you here: the booking emails and the LINE button are switched the way you want, and Google Calendar is connected if you need it.
Confirming or rescheduling one booking is in Work a booking.
Whether each booking item writes a calendar event, or shows the LINE bind entry, is still turned on one item at a time in Add a booking item.
Where
Sidebar Settings under Bookings (/admin/bookings/settings).
The title is Booking settings. The description covers customer and merchant notifications and the Google Calendar connection. LINE secrets are under site settings.
At the bottom, Save settings. On success the notice is Settings saved.
Customer email
When a type is off, that email is not sent. All of them are on by default. Reminder mail still follows that booking item’s Pre-appointment reminders.
| Switch | When it is sent |
|---|---|
| Booking created | After the customer submits: a confirmation, or a pending-approval notice |
| Booking confirmed | After you press confirm |
| Booking rescheduled | After a reschedule succeeds |
| Booking cancelled | After a cancellation succeeds |
The LINE “view or cancel” button
The switch is LINE “View or cancel booking” button. When it is off, the LINE card the customer receives does not show the view or cancel button. Links inside email are unchanged. It is on by default.
LINE Login and Messaging secrets, and the merchant binding, are not on this page. Use Set up LINE notifications. This page has Open LINE notify settings.
Merchant notifications
The merchant email is the contact email under brand and basics (see Set the site name and inbox). Bind LINE on the LINE notify page.
| Switch | What it does |
|---|---|
| Notify merchant on new booking | When the customer creates a booking |
| Notify merchant on confirmation | On the manual-approval flow |
| Notify merchant on cancellation | When it is cancelled |
| Notify merchant on reschedule | When the customer or the merchant reschedules (off by default) |
Google Calendar
The section is Google Calendar.
- Press Connect Google Calendar, and authorize the Google account that should receive the events.
- After it connects, the screen shows the connected calendar and the time.
- Then, on each booking item, turn on Enable Google Calendar / Meet and choose Target calendar.
If it is not connected, email is still sent, but a Meet link is not created automatically. Disconnecting does not delete Meet links that already exist.
Choosing the calendar, the event title and location templates, and fixed invitees has moved to each booking item. You do not pick them calendar by calendar on this page.
If the button cannot start authorization, contact TimTech (the platform has to finish the Google connection setup).
Check
- Send a booking from a test inbox. Both the customer and the merchant should get the matching type, according to the switches above.
- On an item with LINE on: the success page can bind, and the official account can push.
- Calendar connected, and the item has the calendar on: after you confirm, Google Calendar shows the event (with a link when Meet is required).
When it sticks
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| The customer got no mail | That type’s switch is off, it landed in spam, or the customer email is wrong |
| The merchant got no mail | The contact email is wrong, or the merchant switch is off |
| There is a calendar event but no Meet | The item does not have Enable Google Calendar / Meet on, or the site is not connected yet |
| The public site still hides busy times | The item has Block slots on Google Calendar busy times on |
