Modules are not switched on by the site owner
Foreclosure, commerce, bookings, static site hosting, AI SEO, AI chat, and AI social posts are modules the platform authorizes.
The platform usually turns them on for your site in the site admin. The owner’s admin has no switch that turns a module on by itself. If the business needs a module, contact platform support or your project contact.
Content features such as news, the docs center, and custom content types are also opened by the platform. If those items are missing from the sidebar, contact a platform admin. There is no switch to hunt for.
When does the sidebar show an item?
Both of these:
- The site has that module turned on
- Your account can at least read that feature
If either one is missing, the sidebar hides it (or sends you away when you open it).
Common modules and permissions (defaults)
These are common defaults (your site’s roles are what actually apply):

The viewer role can usually look, and cannot change things.
A useful way to read it
- Module: whether the platform grants the capability
- Permission: once it is granted, whether this account can use it
Both have to be in place before the sidebar and the feature are fully usable.
