This is completed: Allow visitors to fill out the form on a specific page.
To modify fields, see How to Edit Fields and Steps. The full-screen layout is by default only editable by the owner, see Full-Screen Page Editor.
Method A: Embed in Page (Most Common)
- Open the Page Management for the page where you want to place the form (e.g., Contact Us). The page must be a customizable block template.
- Click Open Page Editor.
- Click Add from Block Library..., and select Contact Form (Embed). The description is: Embed a contact form on any content page, allowing visitors to fill out and submit messages directly.
- In the block settings, select the form to use (corresponding to the row in the form list). You can optionally fill in a subheading, block title, and subtitle; the subheading will not be displayed on the front end if left empty. The subheading style can be chosen as plain text or capsule label.
- Click Save Block, then preview and confirm the page has been published according to Sections, Preview, and Publish.
The same form can be embedded on multiple pages.
Method B: Button opens form popup.
Applicable to main visuals, call-to-action, message content buttons, etc., that support "open form".
- Set the button action to Open Form (not "Link URL").
- Select the popup form to open; if none is selected, it may default to "Contact Us".
- After saving, clicking the button on the frontend should open the form, not redirect to another page.
Buttons/CTAs in message content also support the same behavior. See How to Publish a Message.
How to verify
- Open the page in incognito mode (not logged in) to see the form or button.
- Fill in the required fields and submit; a success message should appear.
- The backend Form Submissions should show this entry.
- If email notifications are enabled, the site's receiving email should receive the message. See Email Notifications.
Common Issues
| Situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| The block library does not have "Contact Form (Embedded)" | The page is not a customizable block template, or page editor permissions are not enabled. |
| Form cannot be submitted | The form is disabled; or required fields are not filled. Check the form list to Enable this form. |
| Form is embedded but the screen is blank | The wrong form is selected, or the form structure is abnormal. Select another entry from the list and save again. |
| There is a form but no notification email | First, check the Site Receiving Email. The inbox will still have a record. |
