The admin splits this into two places (the sidebar labels are the ones on your screen; they are usually Form List and Form Inbox):
| What | What it is for | Path |
|---|---|---|
| Form List | Titles, whether a form is on, and its steps and fields | /admin/forms/definitions |
| Form Inbox | What visitors submitted | /admin/forms/submissions |
The list says each row is a registered form, including Contact us and multi-step forms. You can switch a form on or off in the list. Click the name or the pencil to open it. When a form is off, the public popup and the submit action are rejected. Submissions are under Form inbox.
Who can add a brand-new kind of form?
There is no button in the admin to add a new form type. The list is the types this site already has, often Contact us and similar.
- You can change the display title, the fields, and the steps, and switch the form on or off.
- If the list is empty, or you need a completely different kind of form, contact TimTech.
A sensible order
- Open the row you want to change on the form list. See Edit fields and steps.
- On a page, add the block that embeds a contact form, and pick the right form. See Embed a form on a page.
- Submit one test in a private window, then check Read form submissions. Seeing a form you can fill, and a successful submit, send platform tracking events. To connect them to GA4 or Ads, see Match tracking events.
The same form can sit on more than one page. After you change the fields, new submissions follow the new fields. Older records keep what was collected at the time.
Who can do this?
By default the owner and a site editor can maintain form definitions and read submissions. A viewer is usually read-only.
