This page gets you here: see Google Search clicks and impressions in the admin. Do the HTML-tag verification first in Set up tracking and verification. This page is a separate authorization to read Search Analytics. You need both.
Sidebar: Search performance (/admin/search-performance). The Settings child page is /admin/search-performance/settings.
Connect Google Search Console to view clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position (last 28 days). Data may lag 2–3 days.
Who can connect? By default, a role that can write (the site owner). Viewers see View-only access: ask a site owner to connect Google Search Console.
Settings (connect)
- Open Search performance → Settings.
- In the Google Search Console block, click Connect Google Search Console (you are sent to Google).
- Authorize with the Google account that owns this site in Search Console.
- Under Search Console property, pick the property that matches this site’s domain, then click Save property.
- Go back to Overview and read the charts.
Success reads Google Search Console connected. and GSC property saved.
You can Disconnect. If the credential expires, authorize again.
What Overview shows
- Metrics: Clicks, Impressions, CTR, Avg. position
- Range: Last 7 days / Last 28 days / Last 3 months / Up to 16 months / Custom
- Top queries and Top pages (up to 25 rows; click a row to filter the whole page)
The dashboard may also embed a last-28-days summary. Live numbers appear only after you connect.
How to check
- Settings shows Connected, and the right property is selected.
- Overview has numbers, or an empty state that makes sense (a new site may have almost no impressions).
- Compare with the Search Console website. The trend should be close (remember the lag).
When it gets stuck
