This page sets discount tiers from a customer’s lifetime spend (you can add free shipping over a threshold).
Member tiers appears in the sidebar only when the platform has turned on online purchase. A completed inquiry does not add to this spend.
Where
Commerce → Member tiers (/admin/commerce/member-tiers).
Name, threshold, and discount are written by the bottom Save. Add, duplicate, delete, and drag save immediately.
Add a tier
- At the top of the list, fill Add member tier and press Add.
- An existing row can be edited in place: name, slug, threshold, and discount. Then press Save at the bottom.
- Drag the handle on the left to reorder. You do not press Save for that.

Set thresholds from low to high so overlapping tiers are not a guess. The checkout quote is what counts. Drag the list to change order.
Duplicate
Duplicate tier on that row creates a new row at once (the name gains a copy suffix, the slug gains -copy). Change the threshold, then Save at the bottom.
Delete
Delete on that row. After you confirm, this page cannot undo it. Past orders that already used the tier are not recalculated.
How to check
- With a test member, spend past the threshold (or confirm that customer’s spend in the admin).
- On the public checkout, the discount and free shipping should match that tier.
- A visitor who is not signed in should not get the member discount, unless you have a separate promotion.
When it sticks
