This page is how you offer shipping methods at checkout, and set guest checkout, the unpaid window, and notifications.
Payment credentials and invoice types are in Set up payment and invoices.
The checkout, shipping, and invoice tabs appear in store settings only when online purchase is on.
Where
Sidebar Commerce → Store settings (/admin/commerce/store).
After a change, press Save on the bottom bar.
On the List tab you can set:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Shop list page size (6 / 12 / 24) | The default for public /shop when the URL does not set a page size. Visitors can still switch it on the list. Page size and paging on a category-card section are set in the page editor, not here. |
| Allow multiple category branches open | Off by default: only one sibling branch stays open, and opening another collapses the previous. On: several can stay open. |
| Show product search | On by default. /shop shows a keyword field. Off: the shop page can only filter by category. |
| Show search in the header | Off by default. On: the site header shows a search button for products and categories. A suggestion opens the category or the product; Enter goes to the /shop search results. Commerce has to be on. |
You still see this tab when online purchase is off.
Tabs that belong with this page:
| Tab | What it is for |
|---|---|
| List | Default page size on /shop, how the sidebar categories collapse, the shop search field, and the header search button |
| Checkout | Tax, guest checkout, the cart badge, unpaid and reminder hours, the order short ID, market, and invoice defaults |
| Shipping (inside Payments) | Home delivery, convenience-store pickup, convenience-store cash on delivery, in-store pickup, and fees |
| Logistics (store settings) | Whether shipping can call ECPay to create a logistics order |
| Notifications | Order and inquiry mail, and the LINE button |
Inside Payments there are also inner tabs Payment, Shipping, and Invoice. Shipping methods are set mainly on that inner Shipping tab.
Checkout
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Charge tax | Off by default. When it is on, product prices are treated as before tax. The product page, cart, checkout, and POS add the rate and show the net amount and the tax-inclusive total. Tax applies to merchandise after discounts, not shipping, and is rounded to the nearest dollar. |
| Tax rate (%) | Shown only when Charge tax is on. For example, 5 means 5%. Range 0–100. A rate of 0 charges no tax. |
| Guest checkout | On: someone who is not signed in can check out. Off: only a signed-in member can finish checkout. |
| Customer design PDF download | On: the buyer can download their print PDF from the order detail (needs online design). |
| Cart badge count | Line items (how many products) or Total quantity (units added up). This is the number on the header cart. |
| Payment pending timeout (hours) | For ATM, convenience-store code, and other payments that are not instant. The usual default is 72 hours. After that the order is Expired and a mail can go out. About 1–168 hours. |
| Payment reminder (hours before expiry) | How many hours before the deadline to send the reminder. It must be less than or equal to the pending timeout. |
| Order short ID (site_short_id) | 2–4 characters, used as the prefix of the order number. Change it rarely after you go live. |
| Market / currency | Taiwan (TWD) or Global (USD). The default currency at checkout. A product with its own currency still wins. |
Invoice defaults (checkout behavior)
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Default carrier type | The default when the buyer does not change it (for example no carrier, or a cloud invoice). Trust the options on the screen |
| Allow buyer carrier override | At checkout they can switch to a mobile barcode, a citizen digital certificate, or a company tax ID |
| Auto-issue invoice on paid | Needs an ECPay B2C track and complete buyer data. A failure can still be handled by hand on the order detail |
| Lock carrier settings | Stops the buyer from changing the carrier |
Which invoice types can actually be issued is turned on under the Invoice tab inside Payments. See Set up payment and invoices.
Shipping methods (Payments → Shipping)
In store settings, open Payments, then the inner Shipping tab.
The note is roughly: after you turn it on, you can set home delivery and convenience-store pickup. Checkout still uses the shipping methods you enabled.
| Method | When to turn it on | What you usually fill in |
|---|---|---|
| Home delivery | You ship to an address | Shipping fee (NT) (0 = no free shipping) |
| CVS pickup | They pay online, then collect at the store | Fee and free-shipping threshold. Checkout opens the ECPay store map |
| CVS cash on delivery | They pay at the convenience store | COD handling fee: Paid by customer or Absorbed by store |
| Store pickup | They collect at your location | Add at least one pickup location. You can also turn on Allow in-store payment |
Fees and the free-shipping threshold are in NT$, as the screen labels them.
The store-level Logistics tab
This is mainly ECPay logistics create: whether shipping from the admin can use Create ECPay logistics order, plus the switches for home delivery and convenience-store logistics.
The ship action itself is in Work an order.
When it is off, you can still type a tracking number on the order and Mark as shipped.
Notifications (orders)
When a switch is off, that mail is not sent (the platform mail service has to be set up). Most are on by default.
Buyer (orders): Order confirmation (pending payment), Payment reminder, Payment completed, Order expired, Order shipped, Refund completed, Invoice issued, Order message.
Merchant: Notify merchant on new order, payment completed, expired, shipment, refund, invoice issued, order message, and Notify merchant on FTP upload failure. The merchant address is the inbox in Set the site name and inbox. LINE has to be bound first in Set up LINE notifications.
LINE “View order” button: when it is off, the customer’s order card on LINE does not show a link to the order.
Inquiry mail switches are in Work an inquiry and Email notifications.
A sensible order before you go live
- Fill in checkout: guest or not, the unpaid hours, the short ID, and the market.
- Turn on at least one shipping method. For convenience-store and in-store pickup, test the store map or the location.
- Connect payment (the next page), then place one Sandbox test order.
- Check that the notification mail reached the inbox, including spam.
Check
- Checkout on the public site shows the shipping methods you turned on, and the fee / free shipping matches the settings.
- With guest checkout off, someone who is not signed in cannot place the order.
- An ATM or convenience-store code order shows a payment deadline. After it passes, the status is Expired.
- After you ship, the buyer gets the shipment mail when that switch is on.
When it sticks
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|

| Checkout has no convenience-store option | The inner Shipping tab has not enabled CVS pickup, or the ECPay logistics credentials are missing. |
| Store pickup cannot be chosen | No pickup location has been added. |
| No mail arrived | The Notifications tab is off, the contact inbox is wrong, or it landed in spam. |
